Still Life Process

For my Still Life, I chose to do an "Identity" Still Life, with some stones I collected, my perfume, one of my stuffed animals, a headpiece from my Shinobu cosplay, and one of my mom's head scarves. Originally, the painting was going to be much wider, but I scaled down to make the composition more interesting.
These were my thumbnail sketches. Now that I'm getting a better look at them, they kind of look the same. But I was trying to put one at a more diagonal, dynamic angle. But, as you can see, I'm not that great with perspective, so I chose not to do that and make my life even harder.

This was my underdrawing. It was a bit difficult to do because my first attempt was too zoomed out, but it never fully erased, so I got confused on what went where a lot. In the future, I think I'd go a little softer with the charcoal, so if I made mistakes, they'd be easier to fix.
